Hurstville City Council Reclassification Rezoning Submissions, 2009/2010

The Project:

TPG NSW was commissioned by the Commercial Property Division within Council to prepare a number of rezoning submissions for Council owned land in relation to Hurstville Council’s process for preparing the Standard LEP Template for the LGA. The objective of the submissions was to determine the highest and best use of the subject sites as controlled by zoning and principal development standards.

The project considered the existing and desired character of the sites and localities; the environmental, social and economic situation; and strategic directions outlined by the Council, DoP and the NSW Government. These planning considerations provided reasoning and justification for the suggested zonings. These submissions have been provided to the Strategic Planning Department within Council for consideration in the LEP process.
