TPG NSW was engaged by Housing NSW to prepare an environmental assessment under the Nation Building and Jobs Plan Act 2009 for the construction of a multi-housing residential development containing 21 residential units, a recreation facility and car parking. The buildings were designed to address both Ernest Street and the bowling club to the east of the site.TPG’s key responsibilities included due diligence with respect to the planning controls on the site, as well as design input to address challenges associated with the existing site, to ensure the quality design of the residential building. TPG’s other key responsibilities included the preparation of a planning site analysis report and an environmental assessment, as well as liaison with council throughout the approval process to ensure a good outcome for the client and existing and future residents.
