The Project:

TPG was engaged by Fabcot Pty Ltd to prepare a Development Application for the development of a Dan Murphy’s liquor store along the enterprise corridor at Parramatta Road, Burwood. The design of the Dan Murphy’s included 1,400 square metres of floorspace, 59 at-grade car parking spaces and a loading dock incorporated into the design of the building.

TPG’s key responsibilities included design input to address challenges associated with the existing site, to ensure the functional design of a liquor store in a busy enterprise corridor along Parramatta Road. The design also needed to incorporate Crime Prevention through Environmental Design (CPTED) principles. TPG’s other key responsibilities included the preparation of a Statement of Environmental Effects and liaison with Council throughout the approval process to ensure a good outcome for the client, future patrons of the store and residents of the locality.
